글램록의 아이콘, 싱어송라이터 Marc Bolan이 몸담았던 그룹 Tyrannosaurus Rex의 1970년작 A Beard Of Stars [Remastered]! 그룹명 Tyrannosaurus Rex라는 이름으로 네번째로 발표한 음반이며 이후 그룸명을 T. Rex로 쓰게되었다. 오르간, 베이스, 어쿠스틱기타를 연주했던 Marc Bolan이 처음으로 일렉트릭 기타 연주를 녹음하기 시작했으며 퍼커션주자인 Mickey Finn를 합류시켰다. 경쾌한 어쿠스틱 사이키델릭 싱글 'By the Light of a Magical Moon'이 수록되었던 본 앨범은 영국 앨범차트 21위까지 올랐다.
