U2 팝마트 투어는 라스베가스에서 1997년 4월 25일 시작되었다. 맥시코씨티에서의 팝마트 투어는 데이비드 말렛에 의해서 감독되었으며, 이DVD는 1997년 12월 맥시코씨티의 포로솔오토드로모 (the Foro Sol Autodromo) 에서 공연한 영상이며 초판은 1998년에 아날로그로 녹음되었으나, 본 DVD버전은 화질과, DTS 5.1채널로 리마스터된 업그레이드 버전이다.
