2007년 데뷰 앨범 [This Is The Life]로 영국은 물론 전유럽을 강타했던 스코티쉬 팝 싱어송라이터 Amy Macdonald의 화제의 2집 앨범 [A Curious Thing][2CD Deluxe Edition]!!! 올해 나이 22살이된 그녀의 천부적인 재능이 발휘된 이번 신작은 전작에서 보여줬던 포크록 스타일에서 크게 벗어난 스타일리쉬한 인디/소프트록으로의 변신으로 많은 팬들의 기대를 모으고 있다. 또한 이번 앨범은 본인이 직접 앨범 프로듀싱까지 해내 스스로 음악적인 성장을 이뤘냈다는 호평을 얻고 있다. 한층 세련된 소프트 록 스타일의 곡으로 지난 2월 26일 독일에서 먼저 첫선을 보인 싱글 'Don't Tell Me That It's Over' (독일, 스위스, 영국, 벨기움, 호주등 여러나라에서 싱글차트 상위에 랭크!)를 비롯해 밝은 분위기의 어덜트 록 넘버 'Love Love', 기승전결의 확실한 Colplay, U2 스타일의 록을 시도한 'Troubled Soul'등 전체적으로 자신의 백밴드에 사운드 비중을 높혀 모던록 스타일로의 변신을 추구한 앨범으로 평가받고 있다.
