힙합 크리에이터 Kanye West가 설립한 레이블 GOOD Music에서 내놓은 화제의 힙합 컨필레이션 앨범 [Kanye West Presents Good Music Cruel Summer]!!! GOOD Music은 2004년에 설립되어 John Legend, Common, Consequence, Malik Yusef, Malik Yusef, Mr Hudson, Big Sean, Pusha T등의 음반을 제작, Columbia, Geffen, Universal Motown등을 통해 릴리즈하면서 규모를 확장해 오고 있다. 회사를 대표하는 첫 편집 앨범으로 발표된 본 앨범은 역시 Kanye West가 중심이 되어 R. Kelly, Jay-Z, Big Sean, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, DJ Khaled, John Legend, Kid Cudi등 자타공인 블랙뮤직의 최고의 스타들을 총동원해 만든 화제작이다. 앨범은 빌보드 랩 앨범차트 정상에 올랐으며 빌보드 앨범차트 2위까지 올랐다. 올해 4월 3일 처음 공개되었던 히트 싱글 'Mercy', 4월 17일 디지털 싱글로 공개했던 'Cold', 7월 21일 디지털 싱글 'New God Flow', Kanye West, Jay-Z 그리고 Big Sean이 함께 녹음한 최신싱글 'Clique' 등이 수록되어있다.
